Ivan Belikov is a Russian born and raised illustrator, based in Saint Petersburg who has managed the -almost- impossible: to give a historical emblem quite an imaginative interpretation. How? By first rendering the 7-color emblem of the Netherlands Coat of Arms, which was then translated into hundreds of cut fragments that were paintstakingly assembled into multiple levels (suspended layers of cut paper, yep, it only sounds that simple).
